3 New Omega 2019 Releases at ‘Time to Move’

Last year, Swiss watch amalgamate Swatch Group announced that they would be retreating out of the Baselworld. While this spring Swatch Group held their exhibition known as ‘Time to Move’, there were many new watches on display and Omega lead the pack. Thus, whether you are looking to ‘sell my watch’ or ‘sell luxury watches’, first have a look at the three new Omega watches released in 2019.

1. Omega Speed master Apollo 11 Limited Edition

Omega introduced the Speedmaster Apollo 11 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the lunar landing. The 42mm steel case watch features a bezel craft from the brand’s patent 18ct Moonshine gold, a solid black ceramic bezel insert and the hand-wound Caliber 3861. However, the Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Limited Edition flaunts a polished grey centre in the dial and three black sub-dials. Interestingly, one of the sub-dials illustrates Buzz Aldrin climbing down for taking his first steps on the moon.

Moreover, the dial comes with the vintage Omega logo as homage to the original Omega Moonwatch that is PVD treated in the Moonshine gold. One of the unique features includes the engraved footprint on the case back, encircling the famous quote of Neil Armstrong – ‘That’s One Small Step for A Man, One Giant Leap for Mankind’.

2. Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M

The new Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M watch comes with a 43.5mm stainless steel case, bright-orange ceramic bezel and the classic helium escape valve at 10 o’clock. Fabricated from ceramic, the white dial offers an alluring contrast to the orange-polished numerals at 6 o’clock, 9 o’ clock and 12.

Moreover, the sapphire case back equips the Master Chronometer Caliber 8900, adorned with tapestry Geneva stripes. However, the 2019 Omega Planet Ocean 600M will be available in two band options – one is striped grey, white and orange NATO style strap with a steel buckle and strap keepers and another is entirely brushed stainless steel bracelet with a diver’s extension clasp.

3. Omega Seamaster Diver 300M

The new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M watch sports a 44mm case, unidirectional ceramic rotating bezel as well as a helium escape valve at 10. This brand new diving watch will be available in Sedna gold, stainless steel and also, a bi-tone mixture of both. However, all the models flaunt a wave pattern on the dial along with a date window at 6 o’clock and two registers at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock.

Moreover, the sapphire case back provides a glimpse of the Omega Calibre 9901 for gold versions or Caliber 9900 for stainless steel and bi-tone versions, having 60-hour power reserves and 15,000 gausses of magnetic resistance.
